Brian Jacques was born on June 15, 1939 in Liverpool, England, and still resides there.  Jacques has worked as a longshoreman, a standup comedian, long-distance truck driver, and playwright.  Finally he tried his hand at writing as been very successful.  His  animal kingdom Redwall series are, "Redwall," "Mossflower," "Mariel of Redwall," "Outcast of Redwall," "Mattimeo," "Martin the Warrior," "The Bellmaker," "Salamandastron," and, "The Pearls of Lutra." Jacques has also written different books including,"Seven Strange and Deadly Tales."  Brian Jacques is going on 50, and hopefully he'll continue his wonderful writing.
