Alexandre Dumas was
born in 1802. During his young adulthood, he became a high
ranking military official in France. By the 1840's, Dumas had developed
a talent of taking historical events and making them more exciting.
From 1842-1852, he wrote his most famous works including,"The Count of
Monte Cristo",and,"Black Tulip" (1850). However, he's most known
for "The Three Muskateers" and its' sequals, "Twenty Years After" and "The
Man in the Iron Mask". In the spring of 1870, Dumas suffered a stroke
and died later in December at his sons home.
