BRUCE COVILLE

Bruce Coville was born in Syracuse, NY and grew up near grandfather's farm in a rural area.  He always knew he wanted to write children's books since he was 19, but had many jobs along the way including: a toy maker, cookware salesman, gravedigger, magazine editor, and elementary school teacher.
 

Books that Coville is most famous for are: "Goblins in the Castle," "Aliens Ate My Homework," "My Teacher Quartet," "The Dragon Slayers," "Camp Haunted Hills,"  and "Jeremy Thatcher, Dragon Hatcher."

Bruce currently lives in a brick house in Manhattan, New York with his wife Katherine who has illustrated some of Bruce's books.  They live with an assortment of odd children, a dog named Booger, and two cats named Spike and Thunder.
