Buck is a nice dog living with a nice family having a regular life before he is taken away and forced into a new life.  Buck goes through many mean masters before he is brought to Alaska to pull a sled during the Yukon Gold Rush.  You can see the troubles Buck goes through from fighting dogs to surviving in the wild by himself.  "The Call of the Wild" is a great and emotional adventure.
