I am a form of precipitation, and I consist
of drops of water. I form when water droplets in clouds come together
and fall to Earth. I am found all over the world. In the tropical
area, I am the main form of precipitation. In cold places, snow
is their main form of precipitation.
I am very important for life because I provide
water for human beings and animals. Not that much life exist in
places where no rain falls. In the rural places, I help prevent
the loss of topsoil by stopping dust storms. I also clean the
air by washing away chemical pollutions.
Sometimes I can be very harmful. Having too much rain can interrupt communication and cause flooding. Too much rain can ruin property and even cost lives. Too much rain can also damage crops.
