Upon entering the world of hail, I become a frozen raindrop or snow pellet in a thunderstorm cloud. I am carried by air currents to a special area inside the cloud where I begin to grow. Super cooled water droplets race to meet me. These droplets remain liquid even when it is below freezing. The droplets and I freeze together and begin growing in size.
