Some More of Joe...

 

Dear Journal,

Finally, I'm finished curing! I've been here for

weeks just sitting around. Oh, no!

The worker is coming and he's picking Cappa

Chino and me up. He's taking me to the

milling machines where my parchment and silver

skin are removed. Yuck, I can feel my skin being

pulled off when the fan blows on me!

Dear Journal,

I am being put into the separator now. The

separator is removing any dirt or sand

and the poorly-shaped, small, broken beans.

Only the largest and best beans

remain. I guess I am a good bean because I

have survived everything! I will soon be put into a

large 132 pound burlap bag and sent to the

roasting plant.
