SATURN
This is the status of the planet of Saturn.
It takes Saturn about 30 years to orbit the sun one time. It took Voyager One over three years to get to Saturn from Earth.
About 750 Earths could fit inside Saturn. But Saturn is very light for it's big size, because it is made up of gases.
Saturn rotated (spins around) once every ten hours. That means one day would equal ten hours!
When Galileo first saw Saturn, it looked like it had it had ears! After that, other scientists thought it was two planets on either side. When we got stronger telescopes, they revealed that they were really rings, not ears! For many years Saturn was thought to be the only planet with rings. Now we know that Jupiter and Uranis also have rings. But Saturn's rings are by far the largest.
