When it took place: April 14th, 1865
What happened: A few minutes after 10:00 a shot rang trough the crowded house. John Wilkes Booth,one of the best known actors of the day, had shot the president in the head from back of the presidential box.
Who was in it: John Wilkes Booth and Abraham Lincoln.
Extra facts: April 15th Lincoln died and was buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
