Golden Ratio

The Golden Ratio is a very common trick to do with Fibonacci Numbers. It has to do with dividing big numbers and decimals so you might need the calculator that is below (if you don't have Netscape 3.0 or higher, there will be a strange message. Click on OK and you will have to use your own calculator. If you are not using Netscape, you need IE 4.0 or higher).

First you divide 1 by 1. You get 1.

Then you divide 1 by 2. You get 0.5.

Then you divide 2 by 3, 3 by 5, 5 by 8, and you keep doing that with the Fibonacci numbers. You are getting closer and closer a special number called the Golden Ratio. At some point, the answer on your calculator will not change. This is as close as you can get to the Golden Ratio. The Golden Ratio is another number sort of like pi. The decimal goes on forever and never repeats.

Hurray! I got it!
