This project would not have been such a success without the help of these people.
Mrs. Eanes, our librarian, helped us by teaching us how to surf on the
internet, ordered origami books for us, and gave us the idea of one of
our activities.
Our art teachers, Mrs. Fairchild and Mrs. Cox, helped us by teaching
us how to fold the paper crane. Many of the students at VMS folded cranes
for this project. So thanks to ALL!
Ms. Dewitt helped us learn how to use the Mavica digital camera
which we used to take the pictures on this website.
Mrs. Gross, our reading teacher, allowed us to share the book, Sadako and One Thousand Cranes, with other students.
Our English teacher, Mrs. Beard, helped us correct our writing and
assisted us, as well as other students, in writing poems for this website.
Mrs. Parker, our music teacher, helped us learn the Sadako Song.
Heather Long helped with the art work for the acrostic.
Our coaches, Mrs. Lowery and Mrs. Louviere, were patient with us
