| The Amazon Rain Forest is one of the biggest animal habitats in the world. In fact, 10% of all the animals in the world live in the Amazon Rain Forest. Also, more fish live in the Amazon River than in the Atlantic Ocean. There are 150 species of bats alone in the Amazon Rain Forest. Many of these animal species are still unidentified. Most of these animals protect or hide themselves with their colors and have made other special adaptations. For example, many reptiles are so camouflaged you can only see them if they move.
