· Alloy- a  hard substance made of metals bonded together
· Barter- to trade goods and services without the exchange of paper [flat], or coin currency
· Counterfeit- to illegally copy; a fake or forgery
· Currency-  the type of money a country uses
· Dies- objects used to stamp or shape material
· Epoxy- a coating that dries into a very hard substance
· Ingot- melted bars of metal or copper that will be made into coins
· Microprint- printed in very small type
· Mint-  a place where money is made; to make coins
· Negative- an original copy to be used as a model for the coin printer
· Nurrismatics-  the study or collection of money from foreign countries
