| What is this new currency that you have heard about? It is called the Euro, and it will replace almost all of the different currencies in nine countries in Europe. That means that all of the countries will have the same coins, the same flat (paper) money, except for one thing. All of the currency will have something that the country that the money is used in is famous for, such as Austria, which will have a picture of Mozart on theirs. Can I see some of this money? You cannot actually see any of the actual Euro currency until the year 2050, but it will be circulating in banks and in the stock market. |
