Buffalo Title

Buffalos are wild oxen that came from Asia and Africa. The American Buffalo are sometimes called bison. The Asian or water buffalo are from India and other parts of Asia. Buffalo are up to six feet tall at the shoulder.

Buffalo are cud chewing and have cloven hooves. They also have permanent horns. They are larger and more powerful than cattle. The buffalo has thick horns that curve outward toward the shoulders.  These horns may grow over one meter from tip to tip. The water buffalo has short, stiff hair.  A large portion of their hide is bare and glossy. In the wild, the water buffalo are dangerous when being awoken.
