| When you walk through the rainforest you will notice liana vines, you know the kind that Tarzan swings on. These vines can range from 30 to 300 feet long. When Tarzan swung from those vines, that was a Hollywood production. Most of the time you can't swing from the vines. They're planted from the ground and grow upon trees toward the sky. Liana vines are so strong that if a tree falls down the vines may pull other trees down with it. |
