Macaws are long tailed, strong beaked birds.  They are a part of the parrot family.  There are only seventeen living species of macaws today.  Macaws come in many sizes.  Macaws are wanted for pets or in the zoo.  They are shipped overseas legally and illegally.  Macaws usually live in trees and fly around.
