things that help the rainforest the most are kids. Yes, you heard
me, kids. You may think that just one kid can't save the rainforest.
Well, you're right. But let's say 100 kids tried. Then, you would
have a pretty good start. Considering how many kids there are in
the world, well, you get the idea.
Many children are already saving the rainforest by sending letters to logging companies and other organizations. Grownups can help out by giving money to nature conservation programs. Also, laws are being passed banning poaching almost everywhere. Another thing we can do is not buy products that are made from tropical woods and animals. We can also support scientists who find medicinal plants, so people will find out how special the rainforest is. If everyone chipped in to save the rainforest, the world would be a better place. |
