 Trilobites, Jellyfish, Sponges, Worms, Amphibians, Reptiles Appalachian Mountains were formed. Laurasia and Godwana became Pangea.  Colder and dryer.
 Mesozoic

 225 million -

65 million

 Dinosaurs, Birds, Flowering Plants, Primitive Mammals  Pangea broke apart into the continents.The Sierra Nevada and Rocky Mountains were formed.  Much warmer than today.
 Cenozoic

Present

 Mammals, Elephants, Insects, Flowers, Humans Greenland brakes off of North America. India collided with Asia. The Alps, Andes and Himalayan Mountains formed.  The earth cooled to the climate we have today.
