The Birth of Earth
Welcome to the Birth of Earth
This is a group project done by six students who all attend North Shoreview Montessori School. This website shows a timeline about the evolution of earth. If you explore a little more you will find we talk about four major eras, the Precambrian, Paleozoic, Mesozoic and Cenozoic. In them we discuss the changes that occured in plate tectonics, zoology and botany. We hope you will explore, learn and enjoy our website. We have word games to help test your knowlage. How the Earth was Formed
Over 4.4 billion years ago the earth was beginning to be formed. Lumps of dust came together in spinning spirals. The heavier dust sunk to the middle. There was alot of heat. Soon the dust melted into one solid ball, the earth. It took many, many, many years to make it look how it does today.
