Adopting a Dog

You might want to consider adopting a dog from an animal shelter or a professional breeder that you have references for. To do this the yellow pages or your local library can help you find the shelter near you. Many shelters get mixed breed dogs. You might like a mutt because it adapts to city life and doesn't usually need a lot of room to roam. They also get some purebred dogs.
