Tree frogs are amphibians the tree frog gets its body temperature from the heat that the inviroment is outside.Tree frogs like to stay cool.If they get to hot they could die.Even though if the tree frog gets to cold they wont die just there body wont work.If the tree frog is not moist most of the time they will dry up and die.There are over 800 different kinds of species found all over the world.There is a kind of tree frog that has very large red eyes.They are found almost everywhere in the world.Tree frogs usually have smooth skin and long legs with suction cups on their toes.
Shapes
Tree frogs come in many different shapes.Some like the white's and cuban tree frog are round and fat.Other species,such as the green tree frog from the United states,are much more slender.The reason why then tree frog is different from the other species of the frog is the tree frog has strange toes,because they have weird suction cups on their toes.The suction cups make it so they can climb up almost any suface that they want to.On a rainy summer night you might even see one outside of your window.
Food
Tree frogs will eat allmost anything that moves and anything that will fit inside of their mouth.They all eat small animals:spiders,insects,worms,or even small mammals.The White's tree frog from Australia likes eating small rodents such as mice,while the smaller species of the tree frog's feed on crickets,or grasshoppers.If a tree frog sees anything move they will jump down,grab,and swallow.They might even eat a smaller tree frog!While the adults eat other animals the tadpoles are feeding on algae and other plants found under water.
