The Common Frog

As you may know the common frog has gills just like the tadpole.The common fog starts its life as a tadpole,and lives soilidly in the water intil its full grown.The common frog lives in grassy medows and woods,along canals and rivers,and they live near lakes and ponds.Duing summer time the common frog is more active at night.They spend the day hiding from predators such as hedgehogs,stoats,badgers,otters,and grass snakes,even though they do have to hide from owls at night.During the day they also have to hide from humans the humans catch them and dissect them for science projects or just keep them as pets,so we would be counted as predators too.The frog changes his/her skin color to camouflageitself among vegetation.One of the things that allmost everyone knows it that th common frog only has six legs.One of the sad things about the common is that in France and belgium the frog is eaten in early spring,when the large edible adults are hibernating.
