Picasso was born in Spain in 1881.His father was an art teacher at a nearby school, and encouraged his son to paint. He thought Picasso could become very famous. He moved to France when he was nineteen.
Sometimes Picasso's paintings would seem 3-D, but
other times they seemed to be completly flat.Picasso went in to the
'Blue Period', when he painted in all blue, when his best friend
died.But a while later, he met Fernande, who made him much happier,
and they were married.For a short period of time he painted in pink,
and later it was cubism.Once he painted a huge painting. it was 12
feet high and 25 feet wide.
Picasso lived to be ninety-two. he died in Paris, France, in 1973.
