Leonado De Vinci was born in a small town of Vinci in 1452.He kept the name of the town to use it for his own last name. Leonardo lived in a time called the renaissance.He was not only famous for his art but every thing else he could do too.When Leonardo made notes he would make them backwards. Leonardo also was one of the first people to paint Mary holding Jesus. Leonardo's most famous painting was the Mona Lisa.No matter where you stand, the Mona Lisa always is staring in your eyes. The great Leonardo Da Vinci died in 1519.
