Frederic Chopin
Born: Poland,1810
Died: France,1849
Chopin started playing when he was four, and started performing at eight. His first piano teacher was his older sister Louisa. Everything in his life revolved around music. Even his practical jokes were musical. Chopin really loved Poland. It is said that when he moved to France he took with him a silver glass full of Poland dirt.
Chopin never married, but he
lived with a lady named Aurore Dudevant. She called him 'Chop, Chip
Chip, my dear corpse, or my little complainer'. He kept a lock of her
hair in his diary until the day he died. Chopin once played a concert
by moonlight. He died in Paris in 1849.
