The fifties had many strange fads. Some of them were hoola hoops, Davy Crocket hats, and poodle skirts. The first Peanut cartoons were more simple than the ones today. There was also a war going on at the time. There was the Korean war. Out of many people who are important to the music of my era, two have been picked, Elvis Presley and Bill Haley.
