Frank Sinatra

    Frank Sinatra was born in Hoboken, New Jersey, on December 12, 1915.  He died in 1998. He was 83 years old when he died. Frank Sinatra became popular in the early 1940's . He was a superstar for more than five decades. Frank’s nickname was Ol’ Blue Eyes.  Also he was “ the original teen idol.” He was awarded the Academy Award best supporting actor for " From Here To Eternity" in 1953. Frank was a singer and actor. Some of the movies he starred in are: "Guys and Dolls"(1955), and " The Manchurian Candidate(1962). Girls thought Frank was cute, young, and awesome, but the adults disapproved of him.  This popular man was a young and talented musician and it was a sad moment in America when he died.
