Hereís another traditional type of marble
game, for those grid iron guys and gals. For this game draw a football
shape about 4 feet from end to pigskin end. Then down the middle
draw a line. Then draw a shooting line two or more feet away from
the bottom of the football. Now to play: each player puts two marbles
on the line. Decide who goes first by lagging.
Then each player takes turns shooting from the taw
line.
If you hit a marble out of the football
you keep the marble. Be sure not to hunch
or fudge. But if you
hit a marble and it does not go out of the football, you do not get the
marble. A person shoots once only, then the next person gets
a turn to shoot regardless of whether he/she gets a marble or not.
The person with the most marbles wins.
