Timber wolves are the most common wolves in Wisconsin. They love to play and frolic. Wolves spend 80% of their time resting, which leaves 20% of their time for hunting. They need to put all their energy into hunting. They eat many different kinds of food. Timber wolves are very harmless. They will not attack you unless you harm them or their family.

Timber wolves live in a pack. The leaders of the pack are called the alphas. The lowest male of the pack is called the Omega. Timber wolves will usually keep a mate for life. They are like humans in some ways.
