The World War II
The Japanese and the Americans
were at war because the Germans thought that there shouldn't be any Jews.
The Japanese thought that Hitler would win the war and they wanted profit
from the war so they sided with the Germans. USA didn't like it .The
Japanese attack planes bombed Pearl Harbor first at 7:53 AM , the second
at 8:55, and it was all over at 9:55. There were 2,403 dead, 188
destroyed planes and a crippled Pacific fleet that included 8 damaged battleships.
On Monday, FDR signed the Declaration of War granted by the Congress.
The Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor on Sunday, Dec. 7, 1941. The Americans
bombed Japan with an atomic bomb.
Samurai
In the olden days there were
Japanese warriors called Samurai. It was a great privilege to be a Samurai.
The Samurai protected the people in wars and were like Japanese police.
The Samurai wore heavy armor and had huge swords.
Nature and Climate
Japan lies
on the western edge of the Pacific
Ocean. It consists of thousands of little islands. Most of Japan
is in the Temperate Zone and has a humid monsoon climate. The country land
area is 378,000 kilometers long. It has a population of 125 million
and growing.
