    Does this look familiar?  If you have done order of operations before, it may.  Order of operations is used to solve probolems like this: 1+ (3x4) -7 x (2-1) =

OK, this is really easy, if you know what to do.

1. do 3x4 then 2-1

2. now, add 1 to the answer of 3x4

3. next subtract 7x the answer from 2-1 from the answer from #2

4. Finally, if you got 6, your finished, if you didn't, find your mistake   : )
