These small kangaroos have a red mahogany-brown back. They have a bright yellow face, belly and feet. The long cylindrical tail is mostly yellow. Their powerful forelimbs and hind limbs are the same length. Matschie tree kangaroos grow to stand about two feet to two-and-a-half feet tall. They can weigh 15-17 pounds.
