WRESTLING
Boys wrestle because they want to defeat a person
either by a fall, also called a pin, or by scoring more points.
A fall, which ends the match, is when you get your person's back on the
mat and hold down both of his shoulders, firmly against the mat for a one-second
( two-seconds in high school.)
The referee makes a call by placing himself so
he can see the body contact with the mat and by silently saying " one
thousand and one" to count the time lapse. The referee will slam his
hand to the mat to signal the fall.
