Mythology

Gods were very important to the Romans. Roman people worshiped gods by prayer, animal sacrifices, and offerings of food and wine. They thought that the gods caused sicknesses and that natural things (such as plants and trees) and objects(such as doors and porches) had their own spirits. Gods were consulted when people got married.
