Alice Flagg!
By:Amanda Graham Naron
Alice was in love with a well, poor man. Alice and her family were wealthy. Alice's family disagreed with her liking the man. The man gave her a ring, which she wore around her neck on a necklace. her brother disliked Alice wearing the ring. Her mother and brother tried there best to keep the young man away from Alice. Alice was so angry with her brother and mom, and she could see they didn't care!
One day Alice and her mother got in an argument. They were fussing about the man that Alice loved.
After a while she agreed to go to school in Murrels Inlet. But living in Charlston with her heart broken of her lost love, Alice be came ill.
As soon as her brother heard the news he went to get Alice at once.
When he got there he took her to the hospital, while her friend packed her clothes (which contained her favorite dress).
Once home from the hospital Alice was weakened and soon lapsed and died in a comma.
At the funeral she was buried in her favorite dress. With her tome stone engraved Alice.
