Why are babies able to learn languages easier than adults?It is because when you are a baby you haven’t filled up your language section of your brain with the language that is most exposed to the baby. Babies can start learning languages as a six-month-old fetus and are completely multilingual until you’re about 6 months old. That is when your brain will gradually begin dedicating itself to only those sounds that the baby is most exposed to. That is why babies are able to learn languages easier than adults.
