Niki
& Jessica were 11 and 9-yr-old sisters during this site's
creation . Home-schooled in Oklahoma,
they spent many nights in tents, under the stars , in state parks,
libraries and museums
researching and gathering information for this site.

Niki's: favorite part of the project was the trip to Carlsbad
Caverns, New Mexico. |
Jessica's: favorite parts of the project were researching the animals, especially the cats, and shooting the night photos. "I still can't believe how many deer were out there when we shot the deer photo. I love animals, and want to be a veterinarian when I grow up." She takes gymnastics, loves to tube and ride her horse. This is her first year participating in TQJr. |
