Spiders These arthropods are not insects,
they're really arachnids. But, the majority of spiders are nightly web-spinners who drink the liquefied insides of insects they wrapped like mummies in silky strands. These fluids are made when the spider injects digestive juices into its prey. Spiders are really helpful to man because they get rid of so many insects nightly. The largest of all spiders, the tarantula, is not as dangerous as most people think. They do have a venom, but, to a human it isn't any worse than a bad bee sting. |
