Raccoons live in the North and South American continents. There are two species...the Common Raccoon and the Crab-Eating Raccoon who lives only in South America.
They spend many moonlit nights in cool waters, fishing for crayfish, fish and frogs. They will also steal eggs from birds' nests, or garbage from trash cans.
