 Myths and Folklore and Legend

   When we looked in the dictionary, these are pretty much all
  the same things. But, there are some differences.                     Myths are sacred stories from the past...
          they involve religious figures.
Folktales are stories that are passed down that have helped us                  understand our world.
Legends are stories that are believed to be based on real characters                and moments in time.

         The Myths and Stories about nocturnal creatures from around the world come alive here. We separated them into different sections so you can see how man's ideas about fear and beauty are a lot alike...even when they're from different times and cultures.
        What we imagine may be different,
but, what made us imagine seems to be the same...
maybe because we are diurnal and human.
