Moths

Moths are true insects. Their bodies are big and hairy.Their antennae can be wide or thin. They fold their wings when they're not flying.

Flying mostly at night, moths spend the day hiding on leaves or trees. They flutter around lights and outside windows at night. Scientists believe they may do this because the light disturbs their navigation systems.

Moths fly in straight lines mostly, using a fixed, far off light (like the moon)  as a guide. So, when they fly by a light, the far away light seems to have moved. they get confused and keep flying around it. Eventually, they fly right into it.
