You're out at on a moonless night...really dark... in a field that seems like the middle of nowhere. So far from any lights that the Milky Way hanging over your head looks close. You hear frogs croaking and crickets chirping.And you smell something sweet.
Wait! Something's running through the brush...you can hear it.
What was that?! You think you saw something fly by...or did you? A coyote howls. You turn to look behind you. But, you can't see anything. Ok, well... maybe it's time to go home anyway...fast.

What is it about the night and its creatures that makes us want to go inside and turn on the lights? Who and what's out there? And why aren't we?

Creatures of the Night and You is an exploration into the sights and sounds, truths and fictions of crepuscular and nocturnal creatures (not just animals) , how we diurnal humans relate to them, and how we can be involved in the beauty of our world , and worlds beyond, after the sun goes down.
