White-tailed Deer

Male deer mate with the does in the late fall. The fawns, born in late spring, keep their white spots all through summer to camouflage them.
Deer eat twigs, buds, and acorns in the winter, and wild fruits, leaves, nuts, grasses, and flowers in the summer.
