All About Us Title
Our ThinkQuest Jr. Guam team worked together to make a wonderful website.  Our team consisted of Chelsie, Atsuko, Karen, Kelly, Michelle, and Sarah.  Our wonderful coach was Mrs. Kraus.

First, we hadTeamwork Wins In Fifth Grade to decide on our topic.  We picked Guam because we live on Guam and it would be easier to find the information we needed.  Then, we branched off Guam to different topics we wanted to talk about.  After we did that, we picked people to take charge of the topics.  We all agreed on our topics and to convince the ThinkQuest Jr. staff, we had to get our writing skills together and write a letter to get submitted into the Thinkquest Jr. competition.

A few weeks later, we were in!  Our teacher made sure we got the message by writing nice and big on the board.  We had a lot of research to do.  From then on, our teacher assigned us certain times to go and build our website.  To do that, we first designed our home page.  We rummaged through colors on construction paper and on the computer.  We finally decided on a pale yellow on the computer.  Two members of our team worked on the colors of the pages and the home page.  It suddenly dawned on them that we would make each topic a certain color and the other things that go under that topic would be that certain color.  Doesn't it look cool?  I, for one, think that we did a great job.  We all owe it to our teacher who believed that we could accomplish our website.  Special thanks to Lori Bradford and Judy Walter for their technical assistance. We want to give a speicial thanks to Mrs. Slater for help with the bibliography.  And a very special thanks to all of our parents who helped out and took us all over Guam. Look where it got us.  Now, what do you think?
