Geckos are one of the best known animals on Guam.   People see them a lot on the ceiling of their homes.  Reptiles are usually quiet but geckos make a chirping sound.  When a gecko loses its tail it eventually grows a new one.  A gecko is a  small reptile.  They are usually brown or tan.    These small reptiles have a better chance in the world when they live outside.  Don't be afraid of these creatures because they are trying to live in this world and eat unwanted bugs, like ants.
