Fiestas Title
HutAs a Chamorro tradition, fiestas are given in one or more villages once each month in honor of their saint, religious ceremonies, or parties.  The family that is giving the fiesta invites friends and other relatives.  Even if you're not invited, you still can come to the gathering.  Now, you might be wondering how they are going to supply all of that food!  Well, it's a good thing that relatives are around.  Most of the relatives donate cooked or uncooked food to whoever is giving the fiesta. To make a fiesta even better, you can combine parties or ceremonies together. Maybe better yet, you can hire a disc jockey or band.  People love to sing and dance especially if it is an old Chamorro chant.  With good friends, good food, it's a Guam paradise! Hut
