Cave Title
World War II Artifacts
The cave that I explored in Chuuk still had bombs at the entrance.  During World War II, the armies would push them out to sea.  The bombs would float and then go under the boats.  When they touched the bottom of the boat, “BOOM!”  The boat would sink  the outer shell would survive.  Today the outer shell is rusty and is empty.  Inside the cave is a big artillery gun that was probably used by the Japanese.  Of course, it is rusty.  There are no more bullets inside – THANK GOODNESS!  Next we saw some bottles that were once used for medicine or saki.  There are shells in the cave too!  They were some of the most beautiful shells I had seen.
