The brown tree snakes usually move
at night. They are difficult to see, even when they move in daylight.
Even though they say there are a lot of snakes, people hardly see them.
One way to trap snakes is to get live bait (e.g., mice, quail, and geckos)
to catch them. The first snake population was noticed around Naval
Station Guam, and herpetologists have been studying them ever since. |
