Hi, my name is Jason. I live in Anchorage, Alaska. The eldest of my family, I am eleven years old. I like to play the cornet, guitar, autoharp and the recorder. I have also had piano lessons for the last three and a half years. I have just started cornet and guitar lessons, and enjoy both greatly. Recorder I had just a few months, but learned lots. Besides playing musical instruments I also like blasting aliens on the computer. My family shares two cats, and two Betas (Beta =fish). I also like dart gun fights, snowball fights and wrestling. I use building sets to exercise my brain capacity. In the summer I ride my bike to Far North Bicentennial Park, a great place. In the beginning of the web site "Energy in the Air, Sounds from the Orchestra," I had very little interest in the orchestra. By the end, I learned lots that I did not know, and now I appreciate the orchestra! I hope you will too.

I'm Samuel. I live in Peter's Creek, Alaska. This is my second ThinkQuest, Jr. project. In Alaska the winters are very long so I like to play hockey in the ice rink that my dad made in the backyard. I play the piano, the cornet, and the radio. I like the cornet the best. I like to play computer games like Jason does except I don't like blasting aliens - I like Earth Siege II and Army Men. I like to play out in the snow in the winter; in the summer I ride my bike on trails around my house with my brother and go camping. I also like Star Wars and can't wait for the new movie to come out. While we were doing this project the thing I liked the best was getting time off from regular school work to do this project but I gotta do catch-up. I also really liked finding the sound files. I think you will like listening to them.
